Migration is not a one-dimensional issue-- there are different aspects that must be tackled. It is crucial to support the work that looks to improve the current lives of immigrants in the U.S. and around the world AS WELL AS work that seeks to tackle and deconstruct the root causes of global migration. Migrant Roots Media was launched this past January by an immigrant woman of color to do just that! Our primary goal is to change the narrative around migration by highlighting the voices of migrants AND of those who are struggling to remain in their homes and lands.
