During the last 16 years, hundreds of mothers and other family members have traveled throughout Mexico searching for their children, denouncing forced disappearances, and raising awareness of these cases. To date, more than 350 migrants have been located and, for many, reunited with their families; this includes migrant women, victims of human trafficking.
This year, for the first time, representatives of this movement will bring this struggle to the United States.
This trip is sponsored and organized by Migrant Roots Media, Pax Christi USA and Puentes de Esperanza Project in coordination with the Movimiento Migrante Mesoamericano.
